Week 7: Unreal Level Organization by Scene + Overdue Scale Fixes
This week, I worked on organizing and optimizing the environment in Unreal Engine into 3 different levels that are individually set up based on scenes 1, 2, and 3. This was set up very roughly to get the team’s updated animatic done in time for class 15. I also adjusted the scale to match the real world, and definitely learned my lesson about making scale a first priority when starting a project.
Level 1
The sphere represents where the cocoon could possibly be placed in the scene.
Level 3
The sphere here represents where the fairy’s final moments could happen in the scene.
( Level 2 stayed very similar to the environment seen in previous blogs )
Updated Environment Scale using Low Poly Proxy Fairy Model from SketchFab
Fairy Model is exactly 3 feet tall in Unreal Engine.
